In 2011 a small group of animal health industry friends got together to ski and collaborate on the slopes of Vail. Since that time, the group has grown each year to include thought leaders from the veterinary industry, private practice, corporate practice, association management, publishing, CSU, and pet retail. Shortly after his first trip to the Vail Veterinary Summit, one of our Summiteers found out his daughter was ill with leukemia. Our group followed their family through her 16-month battle with this horrible illness. In March of 2019, when it appeared that she was improving, we pledged to raise money to help fight this insidious disease during our 2020 summit. Sadly, Anna passed away on November 24, 2019. You can read more about this beautiful young lady here.
As a tribute to Anna, our goal is to ski more than 250,000
vertical feet as a group in six hours and raise more than $12,500! Rather than
complicate donations on a per-foot basis, we are requesting donations of any
amount to Sarah's Fight For Hope Foundation, the family designated and very worthwhile
organization dedicated to fighting this disease. Thank you in advance for your
kind and generous donations!
